ARTIST'S RENDITION OF SWIMMING POOL

The first Rockwell development that covers a vast land area of over 60 hectares is a very exclusive master-planned community named Rockwell South at Carmelray. This is the first Rockwell that ventures into open lots for sale, thus bringing the Rockwell stamp of exclusivity and beyond ordinary lifestyle experience in the South.

For such a high-end and expansive residential community, an opulent Clubhouse is just fitting. With its own gates for ingress and egress, the Clubhouse is a two-storey structure with an impressive drop-off. The façade is cladded with stone and composite wood finishes and picturesque windows. The ground level houses a gym/fitness studio, a dance/exercise studio, and toilet facilities. The second level leads to a Pre-Function Deck, which overlooks the swimming pool. It then leads to the Function Room, large enough to be split into two for flexibility. A pantry is adjacent to it as well as Toilet Facilities. The basement level houses the Home Owners’ Association (HOA) and Estate Office, as well as utilities.

Beside the Clubhouse is a lap pool and kids’ pool. Stepping across the loop road is a big tent housing a tennis court and a basketball court. A meandering pathwalk around it leads to the playground area. Meanwhile, across the drop-off of the Clubhouse is the Great Lawn, which can also accommodate outdoor field games. Outdoor-type Toilet facilities are also located beside it.

For design flexibility, an interim design for the Clubhouse consists of an Open Lounge with bar counter and storage room at the ground level. The second level is an open deck with Activity Area and outdoor seating. There is also a covered portion for the elevator and stairs and other crucial spaces. This interim layout anticipates the ultimate design intent; thus it is not only flexible, but practical as well.
